What we collect, why, and what we do with it.

Who we are
Press Engine Limited, trading as PressEngine, is the data controller for this website (thepre.show). Contact us at [email protected].
What we collect
- Enquiries: when you use our contact or partnership forms, we collect your name, email, company and message so we can reply. These are stored securely and emailed to our team.
- Bookings: exhibitor payments are taken by our production partner, Odd Squad Limited, through Wise; neither of us sees your card or bank details. Wise shares your name, the amount and your payment reference with Odd Squad Limited. We also keep the studio and game details you email us, so we can manage your booking.
- Media & creator registrations: when you register to attend, the details you give are collected through a Google Form run by PressEngine and used to manage invitations to the show.
Analytics & cookies
We use Fathom Analytics, which is privacy-focused and doesn't use cookies or collect personal data. We use a session cookie to keep our forms secure, and Cloudflare Turnstile to protect them from spam. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, so there's no cookie banner.
Why we use your data
To respond to enquiries, manage bookings and handle invitations for media & creators (our legitimate interests and the performance of a contract), and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to two years. Booking and payment records are kept for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting (typically six years).
Who we share it with
Only the organisations that help us run the show: Odd Squad Limited (bookings and payments, via Wise), Google (media & creator registration forms), Resend (email delivery), Cloudflare (spam protection) and our hosting provider. We never sell your data.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by emailing [email protected]. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
